Alternating rows of optional metal studs can be inserted into the shoulder and intermediate tread blocks to increase traction on hard packed snow and icy roads. The Grabber Arctic tire's wide, flat footprint is supported by ultra-high-strength steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon to deliver exceptional penetration resistance and even footprint pressure for excellent braking and confident stability under all approved load conditions.
