The Evolution H/T is designed to provide confident year-round traction, including in light snow.The Evolution H/T utilizes a high-silica, all-season compound molded into a symmetric tread design for ease of rotation to promote even wear. The tread pattern is designed with specifically positioned elements to minimize tire noise, and the tread profile helps prevent uneven wear that would increase noise throughout the tire's life. The high-silica compound provides grip in damp situations, while wide, circumferential grooves evacuate water from the contact patch to combat hydroplaning. 3D Micro-Gauge Siping provides the biting edges needed for traction in slippery conditions, while allowing the tread elements to interlock for added stability and more surface area contact with the road.Internal construction of the Evolution H/T consists of a two-ply, polyester casing to help manage the balance between ride comfort and durability. Two wide, high-strength steel belts are reinforced by two nylon cap plies, stabilizing the tread and increasing resistance to punctures.
