Wide outboard shoulder blocks improve handling stability and feature integral, lateral grooves that reduce road noise. The optimized footprint helps evenly distribute pressure for even tire wear and extended longevity. Bending sipe technology in the center rib retains stability for responsive steering and solid on-center feel and also improves wet and winter traction. Full-depth grooves and sipes and the cross-designed chamfer enhance grip in slippery conditions and light snow, while also helping retain that traction longer into the tire's life.The internal construction of the HTR Enhance WX2 consists of a 2-ply polyester casing beneath two wide, high-rigidity steel belts. A spirally wound, nylon reinforcement enhances high-speed stability, and a high modulus bead insert improves steering response.
