A robust Scuff Protector is built into the sidewall to help reduce the propensity of damage from light, incidental contact with curbs and other roadway objects.The tire's internal structure features polyester body plies for smooth operation, combined with twin steel belts and a nylon cap ply which enhances tread stability and further increases durability.Towmax Vanguard tires have a Service Description that confirms each size earns an N speed rating, therefore, running the standard cold tire pressure recommended for the trailer and its load requires no additional adjustment in pressure for speeds up to the tire's 87 mph (140 km/h) maximum speed rating.Special purpose trailer tires are not UTQG rated.
