This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring a continuous center rib flanked by interlocking intermediate blocks and notched shoulders to increase steering response and braking performance. Four wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern help drain water from under the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while shoulder block notches, 3D intermediate tread blocks and engineered sipes increase the number of biting edges to promote foul-weather traction.The tire's internal structure features two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped, high-density nylon to aid in maintaining footprint contact pressure to enhance overall cornering and handling performance. High-hardness bead fillers in the sidewalls promote handling and steering response.
