The Enasave 01 A/S (Energy saver) is Dunlop's eco-friendly Passenger All-Season tire developed as Original Equipment for the Mitsubishi i MiEV (Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle) city car. In order to match the Mitsubishi i's high-tech all-electric drive train (no gas tank, no exhaust system and no CO2 vehicle emissions), the Enasave 01 A/S is designed to combine high environmental performance, a quiet ride and year-round traction, including in light snow.The Enasave 01 A/S features a low rolling resistance tread compound molded into a symmetric design that provides uniform footprint pressure to promote traction while reducing tire energy loss. Independent tread and shoulder blocks bordered by circumferential and lateral grooves blend dry road and wet road capabilities, while strategically placed sipes add extra biting edges to promote snow traction. The tires internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide on top of a polyester cord casing.* Specific sizes featuring Enasave technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Spec tab.
