The Zeon RS3-S is Cooper's Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sports coupes and performance sedans looking for a tire to match the personality of their performance vehicles. The Zeon RS3-S is designed to deliver impressive handling and traction in dry and wet conditions without sacrificing ride and noise comfort.Utilizing a high-grip, summer compound, the Zeon RS3-S is molded into an aggressive, asymmetric pattern. The outboard shoulder features broad tread blocks to provide the traction needed for handling and high-speed cornering. The wide and rigid center rib delivers solid on-center feel, and the inboard shoulder consists of smaller elements to create more biting edges to aid wet traction. Four wide, circumferential grooves combine with large lateral notches to evacuate standing water from the contact patch and help resist hydroplaning.Internal construction of the Zeon RS3-S consists of a two-ply polyester casing with twin steel belts supporting the tread. A single nylon reinforcement aids handling and provides high-speed capability.
