The Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT is Bridgestone's Performance Winter/Snow Run-Flat tire designed to provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility in case a puncture allows complete air loss. Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT tires are designed to allow drivers to maintain their vehicle's sporty appearance while providing wintertime traction on cold, dry, wet and snow-covered roads. The Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT molds a high-silica content tread compound that remains pliable in cold temperatures to combine winter traction with run-flat durability. This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring independent blocks and rounded shoulders that combine hydroplaning resistance on wet and slush-covered roads with enhanced handling in cold, dry conditions. Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT tires feature the Lamellen "edge effect" (multiple biting edges in the tread blocks to help grip snow) to enhance winter traction without resorting to traditional metal studs. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to blend high-speed durability with uniform ride quality. The Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT's structure has been specifically tuned for its intended vehicles and features Bridgestone Side Support Run-Flat technology reinforced sidewalls to support the vehicle after a puncture causes loss of air pressure.Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT winter tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.Install Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT tires in sets of four only.Due to the traction capabilities of the Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT, Bridgestone recommends using Blizzak LM-25 4x4 RFT tires only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance. Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner's manual.
